Zones defined in software
The downlights, cove, accent track and pendant are separate here because they were assigned to groups, not because they sit on separate circuits.
This is a live simulation, not a set of photographs. Move the sliders and the light is recalculated — the same way a DALI system recalculates a real room. Every luminaire below has its own address.
Every change you made is a command on a two-wire bus. In a real installation the fixtures never moved, nothing was rewired, and no circuit was added — which is the whole argument for addressable control.
The downlights, cove, accent track and pendant are separate here because they were assigned to groups, not because they sit on separate circuits.
Each scene is a stored level for every address. Changing one later is a configuration edit, not a site visit with a ladder.
Turn on the address overlay. Any one of those twelve can be dimmed, re-grouped or queried for faults on its own.
